This is my first purchase from SB. I am 5'1 and a a UK size 8. Following the size guide I ordered the leggings in XS. When they arrived I was impressed by the quality but when I went to try them on they were tiny and I could barely get them on. Have returned and re ordered for a S which are a much better fit. I would say the leggings are more of a mid rise than a high rise, and the 7/8 length is perfect for me coming just above my ankle bone. Apart from the sizing being off they are great leggings. I bought these for strength training and everyday wear. I completed the 'leggings quiz' beforehand on the SB site, and I'm not sure how they recomended these based on the information I gave them. Compared to my usual brand of leggings I found these to be restrictive and uncomfortable. Even the pocket was an odd triangular shape meaning my phone was riding up as soon as I moved, and despite me only being 5'6'', the 7/8ths length that I always buy elsewhere was just ridiculously short in these. For such an expensive pair of leggings I was really unimpressed, and having tried them on, they've gone back as I know there is no way I could actually lift weights and walk the dogs comfortably in them!
